Well, said the actor,
That seems to be a little overly

Dramatic,

And the playwright said
Well yes, but otherwise

Actor

Both you and I
Would be out of a job:

Oh, now I remember
Said the actor,
But don’t worry

Writer

I won’t tell them
on stage

or anywhere, added the playwright,
no, of course not, said the actor

and the playwright said, well
I thought not,
And well, actually then
He smiled, just as he

Thought not.
